SEG Solar Debuts at ACP 2026, Showcasing U.S. Manufacturing Expansion and Long-Term Growth Vision
HOUSTON, Texas, June 1, 2026 — SEG Solar ("SEG"), a leading U.S. solar module manufacturer, made its debut appearance at ACP CLEANPOWER 2026, held June 1–4 in Houston, Texas. At Booth 1833, the company showcased its high-performance ALPINE N series modules and highlighted its expanding U.S. manufacturing footprint, attracting strong interest from developers, EPCs and industry partners across the clean energy sector.

At the exhibition, SEG featured two ALPINE N series modules built on advanced N-type bifacial technology. The modules deliver up to 725W of power output and a maximum efficiency of 23.34%, supporting a wide range of residential, commercial and utility-scale solar applications in the U.S. market. Designed for long-term field performance, the ALPINE N series also offers strong environmental adaptability, maintaining stable energy generation under high-temperature and low-irradiance conditions. Reflecting its commitment to product quality and reliability, SEG has been recognized as a Kiwa PVEL Top Performer for five consecutive years, underscoring the company's strength in quality control, manufacturing consistency and long-term module performance.

Throughout ACP 2026, industry discussions focused on the rapid growth of electricity demand driven by artificial intelligence and data center expansion, as well as the opportunities created by domestic manufacturing initiatives and supply chain localization. Against this backdrop, SEG continues to advance its FEOC-compliant vertically integrated supply chain strategy while expanding its U.S. manufacturing capacity. SEG's second U.S. module manufacturing facility, located in the Greater Houston area, is scheduled to begin operations in the third quarter of 2026. The facility represents a $200 million investment and will add 4 GW of annual module production capacity. The company's third manufacturing facility, also located in the Greater Houston region, is expected to commence operations in the second quarter of 2027 and will contribute an additional 4.6 GW of annual capacity.

Over the next year, heterojunction (HJT) technology will become a key focus of SEG's product and manufacturing strategy. The second factory will be equipped to produce HJT modules, while the third factory will be dedicated primarily to HJT manufacturing, further expanding the company's supply of high-efficiency solar products and addressing the evolving needs of different market segments. Upon completion of these projects, SEG's total U.S. module manufacturing capacity will reach 10.6 GW, making the company the largest U.S.-based crystalline solar module manufacturer. The expanded manufacturing footprint is expected to provide customers with a more stable and reliable domestic supply of high-quality solar modules while supporting the continued growth of America's clean energy industry.

SEG's participation at ACP 2026 not only demonstrated the company's technological capabilities and product competitiveness, but also reflected the progress it has made in strengthening its presence in the U.S. market. Moving forward, SEG will continue to invest in innovation, manufacturing excellence and localized operations to support America's energy transition and accelerate the deployment of clean energy solutions nationwide.
