SEG Solar and Silletti Energy Sign 10MW Module Distribution Agreement
On February 29th, SEG Solar (SEG), a leading U.S. producer of photovoltaic (PV) modules for the utility, commercial and residential markets, announced the signing of a one-year, 10MW photovoltaic module distribution agreement with Silletti Energy Srl (Silletti Energy). This collaboration introduces SEG's latest ultra-efficient modules to the Italian market, marking a significant step forward in advancing solar technology in the region.
Italy stands out as a key player in the European solar market with a steady demand for photovoltaic power. In 2023, Italy achieved the third position in the European market by installing 5.23 GW of new photovoltaic capacity, according to Italia Solare. Due to strong market demand and supportive policies, Italy is poised to continue playing a leading role in the European solar energy sector.
