SEG Solar Makes a Strong Impression at RE+ Texas 2025, Showcasing U.S. Manufacturing Excellence
From May 13 to 15, 2025, the leading North American clean energy event RE+ Texas was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. As a leading U.S.-based PV module manufacturer, SEG Solar (“SEG”) made a prominent appearance, highlighting its high-performance N-type flagship modules and drawing significant attention from attendees.

In recent years, the U.S. has prioritized domestic PV manufacturing. Thanks to favorable climate conditions, policy support, and a large-scale electricity market, Texas has emerged as one of the most promising solar markets in the country. According to data released by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), Texas added 11.6 GWdc of new solar capacity in 2024, ranking first nationwide for the second consecutive year. In addition, by the end of 2024, the state's PV manufacturing capacity reached 8.6 GW, demonstrating the rapid momentum of solar development in Texas.

As a Texas-based company, SEG’s smart manufacturing facility in Houston is accelerating toward full-capacity operation, with each production line capable of producing up to 4,000 modules per day, ensuring a steady supply of high-efficiency, reliable products to meet local demand.
Building on its manufacturing strengths, SEG continues to deepen partnerships with North American stakeholders. In 2025, the company established strategic collaborations with U.S. cell manufacturer Talon PV, racking supplier SunModo, and others, further strengthening a resilient and efficient local supply chain.

During the exhibition, many attending companies expressed strong interest in SEG’s Houston facility, highlighting the growing recognition of SEG’s manufacturing capabilities and its role in advancing localized solar manufacturing and industry collaboration.
